Namma Bengaluru Challenge (NBC) 2026

At the Namma Bengaluru Challenge'26, it was heartening to see climate tech not as a side conversation, but front and centre.

Huge credit to UnboxingBLR, Social Alpha and WTFund for pulling together a thoughtful, well-run event and proud to be there as an ecosystem partner.

At the SusMafia stall, four climate startups showcased their products... We had
econscious® displaying innovative plastic waste recycling, Nanosentrix with upcycled resources, UNIREC | Sustainable Clothing showcasing sustainable clothing from recycled fabric, Avaranam featuring bottled plants... all real solutions, real use-cases, bringing real conversations with people who were curious, critical, and genuinely engaged.

Right next to us, Biome / Build reminded everyone what sustainability looks like when it’s lived, not just explained, a stall that didn’t just inform, but immersed.

And then came the moment of quiet pride.
In the NBC Startup Challenge Top 10, 4 SusMafia startups made the list:

- Craste- Low-resin formaldehyde-free engineered boards.
- PadCare- Sanitary waste management
- Go Do Good- Plastic waste solutions
