About Mrs. Dandekar:

Leena Dandekar is co-founder and principal of Raintree Family Office and Raintree Foundation. She oversees as a strategist, a portfolio focused on balancing social and economic returns. Leena co-founded Raintree Family Office along with her children, Abha Dandekar and Vivek Dandekar.

The Raintree Family Office portfolio spans ESG conscious alternate assets, impact  investments as well as private philanthropic investments in the family’s foundation – Raintree Foundation. Our hybrid model focuses on tackling India’s chronic social  issues through a combination of strategies all aimed maximising impact.

Raintree Foundation is the outcome of the family’s deep-seated passion and  commitment to actively contribute to the country's inclusive and sustainable  development. Raintree Family Office is building a socially conscious investment  portfolio which is diversified and includes ESG conscious alternate assets,  impact investments as well as public market equities. Equity investments in  innovative for-profit ventures that address critical social issues is also a focus area.

Before starting the Raintree Family Office and Foundation, Leena served as a  member of the Board of Directors of the Camlin Group, where she helmed various  strategic and operational initiatives.

In addition to working closely with social entrepreneurs and the family foundation,  Mrs. Dandekar loves gardening, and is a voracious reader.

About Ms. Gandhi:

Disha Kapadia Gandhi is an investment manager at Aavishkaar Venture Management Services (AVMS) in the Mumbai office. She is responsible for new investments and deal execution as well as working with select portfolio companies and managing exits.

She has been part of the AVMS team since January 2016 and prior to that, worked with Intellecap with its Investment Banking team for 2.5 years. She has over 8 years of experience in the corporate finance and investment banking space having worked with companies like JP Morgan India Services Private Limited, Lehman Brothers India Services Private Limited, IDBI Capital Markets Private Limited and Antique Capital Market Private Limited on transactions in public and private equity markets. She has wide experience ranging from IPOs, QIPs, Buyback, PE and restructuring deals. She has completed her MBA from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Mumbai and an undergraduate degree from N.M. College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai.
